Moving Day In Houston

• Entercom announced that Rich Lord will be departing his longtime afternoon position at Sports-Talk KILT-AM (SportsRadio 610)/Houston. Lord was the co-host of The Triple Threat with Sean Pendergast, weekdays from 2-

“Rich did an incredible job for nearly two and a half decades on SportsRadio 610,” said Sarah Frazier, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Houston. “As one of the first announcers on Houston’s first all-Sports-Talk station, he has played an instrumental role in building this heritage station and will always be an integral part of its legacy. We’re thankful for his work ethic and contributions to the station over the years and wish him the best. He will always be a treasured player of SportsRadio 610.”

Lord remarked, “My time at SportsRadio 610 has been the most rewarding, fulfilling and satisfying experience of my professional life. I’ll forever be grateful to Dickie Rosenfeld for bringing me aboard in 1995. My time here has meant so much to me and my family that the biggest emotion that I feel right now is gratitude. I came here in my ’30s, and I’m leaving in my ’60s. It doesn’t get much better than that.”

• Concurrent with the news of Lord’s departure, KILT-AM announced a revised on-air line-up, starting in morning drive, as Lord’s former afternoon co-host Sean Pendergast moves up to the morning shift, teaming up with co-host Seth Payne.

SportsRadio 610 then introduced its new afternoon drive team: Clint Stoerner and Rick Kamla will host Clint and Kamla weekdays from 2-6pm CT, effective July 22. Stoerner has been a weekly contributor and fill-in host on SportsRadio 610 since 2018. Prior to that, Stoerner was a studio analyst for Signal Media Sports-Talk KABZ (103.7 The Buzz)/Little Rock, AR and the SEC Network. Kamla most recently did middays on sister WZGC (92.9 The Game)/Atlanta. He had also served as a studio host and play-by-play announcer for NBA TV since 2003.

The new SportsRadio 610 weekday lineup looks like this — 6-10am: Payne and Pendergast; 10am-2pm: In The Loop; 2-6pm: Clint and Kamla; 6-7pm: Texans All Access; 7-9pm: The Six Pack with Matthew Jarecki; 9-11pm: Matthew Jarecki.
