Rob Williams Leaves Townsquare Media

RAMP has confirmed that veteran industry executive Rob Williams has resigned his position as SVP, Local Media for Townsquare Media and plans to focus his attention on executive coaching.

Williams broke his own news in a LinkedIn post that reads, “Today is my last day at Townsquare Media. I want to thank CEO Bill Wilson, COO Erik Hellum, CFO Stuart Rosenstein, and our Chairman Steven Price for recruiting me over 7 years ago. It has been an incredibly positive experience. And to my Team… Thank you for your partnership and trust. I am excited to build upon my leadership experience and executive coaching training moving forward in 2023. With appreciation.”

Williams joined Townsquare in Aug. 2015, transitioning the VP/Market Manager post at Greater Media Boston. He earlier spent seven years with Clear Channel, serving as New York Market Manager. He also launched the U.S branch of Goom Radio, serving as its CEO, and co-founded Digital Brand Connections, LLC (DBC). No replacement for Williams has been named yet.
