Pros On The Loose

RAMP has confirmed that Dee Dee Renee, former co-host of The Doug Banks Show, has resigned as midday personality on Alpha Media Urban AC WWDM (The Big DM)/Columbia, SC after an eight-year run.

Ms. Renee (pictured) is a 25-year radio pro who in early 2015 was named co-host of the syndicated Doug Banks Show, replacing DeDe McGuire. More recently she had been doing the midday show on The Big DM. Prior to arriving in Columbia, Renee worked in the Richmond, VA market at WKJS (Kiss 99.3 & 105.7) and at WBBT.

In a farewell Facebook post, Renee said, “I had a great 8 years with 101/3 The Big DM but now it’s time to move on to the next. I will miss talking to my DM listeners on the phone, but we will talk again. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities that Alpha Media has given me. As I move on I will always Love all of you and there is nothing you can do about it!”

Looking ahead, Dee Dee can be reached at MsDeeDeeRenee@gmail.com.
