Tony Q On The Loose

With three decades of radio management experience under his belt, Tony “Q” Quartarone is looking for his next industry opportunity. Quartarone most recently served as President of Multimedia Communications, LLC, and operated WZDJ (DJ 105.3), serving the Jacksonville, FL market.

Tony started his radio career in 1981 at WRKS (Kiss 98.7)/New York and in the late ’80s worked in the Philadelphia market, consulting, and later, programming WUSL (Power 99) and he helped launch WIOQ (Q102). From 1989-1997 he was the multi-tasking owner, GM, Sales Manager and PD of WRKE/Salisbury-Ocean City, MD. He spent the next 17 years as co-owner, GM, PD and Sales Manager of QC Communications WJKS-FM & WFAI-AM/Wilmington, DE, which are now owned by Delmarva Broadcasting.
