Amazing Opportunity: Mornings In Madison

• Mid-West Family Country WWQM (Q106)/Madison, WI has an opening for a morning show co-host/content creator to plug in alongside host Fish, succeeding Jen Stephens, who is returning to Michigan for an opportunity outside of radio.

A couple of key questions: 1) Do you live the Country lifestyle? 2) Do you want to do so every morning, in an amazing city, for an independent company, in a state-of-the-art facility, on a heritage Country station, and teamed up with a market legend? Of course you do!

Q106 is looking for a strong communicator on air, online and in person. Applicants must believe in creating unique content every day, be social media-savvy and want to win. Must possess a daily preparation regimen with a growth mindset. Liner jocks, bit thieves and prep service re-readers need not apply.

The proper candidate should also have the ability to write creatively for on air, web and social media, and have superior audio-editing and production skills, the ability to improvise and be competent with web-based dashboards. You should also feel equally comfortable in bars, conference rooms and client meetings and be willing to endorse client products.

Prior experience in music scheduling, Google docs, Adobe Suite, Photoshop or equivalent software skills are a plus, and it will be helpful if you have video production and editing skills, some knowledge of Madison and the surrounding area, and the Wisconsin lifestyle and culture.

Send whatever you think will win you the job — resume, audio, video, screen shots, scripts — what you do best — to Randy Hawke, VP of Programming & Content, MWF Madison at randy.hawke@q106.com. EOE. No calls and no social DMs accepted.
