America’s Finest City Beckons!

• Broadcast Company of The Americas in beautiful San Diego has two intriguing openings — mornings on Classic Hits XHPRS (105.7 MAX-FM) and a fulltime opportunity across the hall on Sports-Talk XEPRS-AM (The Mighty 1090).

Let’s start with MAX-FM, as Kim Morrison and Sammy Jo Golesh recently exited mornings. VP of Programming & Ops Mike Shepard is now looking for a creative, talented personality who can connect with listeners efficiently in hosting a music-intensive morning show. The ideal candidate has energy, enthusiasm and the ability to inform, entertain, and celebrate the music in a concise manner.

Management is NOT looking for “bits” or mindless chatter. Whether or not you’ve ever done mornings — or Classic Hits — if you fit the bill they’d love to hear from you. Send your stuff to HR@bcaradio.com. No calls, please. We will respectfully respond to all inquiries to let you know whether or not we think you’d be a good fit. EOE.

• The Legendary Mighty 1090 also has a rare full-time opening. They haven’t decided on the specific daypart just yet, but regardless of shift, the ideal candidate(s) will have solid Sports-Talk experience in a medium to major market. We’re not looking for “stats geeks” or “call jammers” — we are looking for extraordinary entertainers. Send your materials to HR@bcaradio.com. No calls please. All inquiries will receive a response.
