Cheese & Packers, Anyone?

• On November 28, Jim Murphy retired from mornings on Midwest Communications’ heritage Top 40 101 WIXX/Green Bay, wrapping up an amazing 32-year run. Yesterday we told you that Murphy’s longtime co-hosts Katie Schurk and Nick Vitrano have jointly decided to leave the station. WIXX is now actively seeking a new co-host to team up with the new WIXX morning host, who will be announced soon.

WIXX is not your typical Top 40. We are personality-driven and extremely local 24/7. We’re looking for someone with a quick wit, upbeat positive personality and a super supportive team member. Also expected is strong social media content, personal appearances, creative, fresh and local every break. Passion for the brand and a positive attitude is a must. Opportunities may exist for product endorsement and live remote broadcasts so working well with the sales staff will benefit you. Listen online to get the vibe at wixx.com.

WIXX is owned by Midwest Communications — a privately run company. You will work in one of the premium broadcast facilities in the nation with a 100kw signal that covers the vast region of NE Wisconsin. WIXX has a long tradition of winning, so a positive attitude and passion for the product is a must. We offer a competitive salary and a full benefits package.

Interested? Email your aircheck, resume and cover letter to Brand Manager Corey Carter at corey.carter@mwcradio.com, or overnight your package to WIXX, 1420 Bellevue St., Green Bay, WI 54311, Attn: Corey Carter.
