Giselle Andres Exits Easy 93.1/Miami

• Big news out of Miami radio, as longtime market veteran Giselle Andres has departed from mornings on Cox Media Group AC WFEZ (Easy 93.1) after seven years.

Andres announced her exit in an Instagram post that reads, “It was time for me to close this important chapter, and challenge myself. Thank you to the extraordinary friends I made at Cox Media Group. I am so very grateful for seven impeccable years of winning. Thank you to YOU, who drove to work and school listening, laughing, sharing, dancing, connecting, allowing me to be your car passenger, and making me feel safe sharing the different pieces of me that make me, eternally yours. I am off to my next adventure.”

Andres has been a fixture in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market for three decades on both Spanish and English-language radio and television stations including WXDJ, WRMA, WRTO and Exitos 107.1 before joining WFEZ for mornings in March 2016.

For now, Jeff Martin is rolling solo, and OM Phil Michaels-Trueba says the position will be posted soon.
