Indy Ponders Mornings Minus Mendenhall
An Indiana Broadcasters Hall of Fame inductee, Mendenhall’s 40-year radio career, all of it spent in Indianapolis, includes earlier stops at WXLW, WNAP and WIBC. “I’ve been a part of all facets of the radio industry including Talk, Classic Rock, CHR… even Country for a weekend,” said Mendenhall. “I’m very lucky to have spent two decades working at my favorite radio station with people who really care about me. I’m a slow study, and I had a long way to go, so it’s paradoxical to be retiring from mornings when I might be close to getting it right!”
• That being said, the search is now officially underway for the next WTTS morning host. Natural communicators who have a passion for music, attention to detail, are digital/social media savvy, and possess the natural ability to connect with an active, adult audience, should send their materials ASAP to mornings@wttsfm.com.
