Michael Czarnecki Joins Binnie Media

Michael Czarnecki has come home to New England, hired by Binnie Media as Director of Brand Operations, effective September 27. In his newly created position, Czarnecki will work alongside Binnie Media VP of Programming Heath Cole overseeing the company’s radio stations in New Hampshire and Maine.

Cole remarked, “In his new role, Michael will work closely with our marketing, promotions, News-Talk, and music initiatives in all formats. We are very excited to have Michael joining us on the programming leadership team.” Binnie Media President Massimo Rosati commented, “Michael’s skillset and energy combine to make him the perfect addition at Binnie Media.”

Czarnecki joins Binnie Media from iHeartMedia, where he had served as PD of News-Talk WONK-FM (WWDC-HD2)/Washington, DC since Jan. 2019. Before that, he programmed Talk sister WRKO/Boston.

Czarnecki’s lengthy new New England radio career started in 2001 at WGIR (Rock 101)/Manchester, NH, with a subsequent stop at WKSS/Hartford, and a lengthy Boston radio history at the late WFNX, WODS (103.3 AMP Radio), WXKS (Kiss 108), WJMN and WBMX (Mix 104.1). Prior to joining WRKO, Czarnecki worked for iHeartMedia Springfield, MA as PD of Country WRNX (Kix 100.9) and APD of Top 40 WHYN-FM (Mix 93.1) & News-Talk WHYN-AM.
