Kidd’s Move Opens Afternoons In DC

Jason Kidd has exited the afternoon show on Cumulus Hot AC WRQX (Mix 107.3)/Washington after a three-year run. To answer the musical question, “So, what’s next for Jason?” may we direct your attention to Kidd’s tantalizing Facebook post, that reads, “I said back on New Year’s Eve that 2019 would be the biggest and best year yet. Got a very exciting, major announcement coming soon! PLEASE STAND BY… #thefuturehascometothis.”

So while we anxiously wait for Jason to reveal his big news, we can tell you that he will continue to focus on running his company, New Generation Radio. Kidd’s extensive programming resume includes a lengthy run with CBS Radio as PD of WPGC/WashingtonWWMX (Mix 106.5) and WQSR (Jack FM)/Baltimore and KQBT/Austin. Earlier in his career Kidd spent five years with Clear Channel as PD of WKST/Pittsburgh and WWHT/Syracuse. He also worked at SiriusXM for six and a half years.
