Morning Co-Host Needed @ WKLB/Boston

• RAMP has confirmed that Hannah Byrom has exited as morning co-host on Beasley Country WKLB (Country 102.5)/Boston after 2 1/2 years. Host Jackson Blue and Producer Santi DeOleo will continue on as the search for a new co-host gets underway.

Byrom (pictured) broke the news of her departure in a Monday morning Facebook post that read, in part, “This morning was my last show with Country 102.5. It’s been a great run for the past 2.5 years and I’ll miss getting to hang with Jackson Blue & Santi DeOleo every morning. THANK YOU to every one of you that allowed me into your life every morning.”

Byrom landed at WKLB in April 2016, following a stint in middays on Connoisseur Top 40 WPST/Trentonand weekends on Cumulus Hot AC WPLJ/New York. She was originally paired with Jeff Miles, who left in November 2016. Current host Jackson Blue crossed the hall from Rhythmic AC sibling WBQT (Hot 96.9) in March 2017. Earlier in her career Byrom co-hosted the nationally syndicated Zach Sang and the Gang, and her previous morning show stops include Alpha Media Top 40 KBFF (Live 95.5)/Portland, OR and WAZO/Wilmington, NC. Looking ahead, Byrom can be reached at hannahgbyrom@gmail.com or @hannahRadio for all social accounts.

• WKLB PD David Corey is now seeking a new morning co-host — knowledge of the Country format is a plus. Qualified candidates are urged to make him aware of their availability at david.corey@bbgi.com.
