Mornings Open In San Diego & Tampa!
• Entercom Alternative KBZT (FM 94/9)/San Diego has parted company with the Cantore + Woods morning show after a 15-month run. Market vet Chris Cantore joined existing host Steve Woods on FM 94/9 in October of 2015, crossing the street from mornings on the now defunct KPRi. Cantore is probably best known for his earlier 11-year run in mornings on Alternative XTRA (91X). The hunt for a new wake-up show is already underway in earnest, as FM 94/9 OM/PD Kevin Callahan tells RAMP, “We are searching for a ratings-crushing Alternative morning show. As we recently reported, 16-year Magic morning duo Chadd & Kristi Thomas recently crossed the street to Beasley’s new AC outlet, WBRN (B98.7). Do you live and breathe pop culture? Do you live the lifestyle? Can you cut through the noise and connect with listeners on-air, digitally, and in the community. If so, we want to hear from you! A minimum of three years of Top 40 or Hot AC on-air experience is preferred. Applicants must possess a strong on-air presence and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
