New Station For Chase Matthews
• And that would be a police station… RAMP has confirmed that Chase Matthews has resigned as co-host of the Wake Up With The Wolf morning show on Audacy Country WPAW (93.1 The Wolf)/Winston-Salem/Greensboro, effective tomorrow, Sept. 15. Matthews has accepted a position with Greensboro Police Department as its Public Information Coordinator.
Matthews posted the news of his departure on Facebook, stating, “Thank you Triad for the last seven years and radio as a whole for the last 12 years. Y’all have made this little Randolph County kid super happy to be part of your morning commute. Let’s go out with a bang!”
The Wolf has now kicked off an interplanetary search for a new 3rd mic to plug in across from Dale O’Brian and Annie Camp.
