Jerry Noble — Free Agent

• Michigan radio pro Jerry Noble is now a free agent as he exits as PD of Cumulus Top 40 WWCK (CK 105.5) and Classic Hits WWCK-AM 1570/W297CG/Flint, MI after a 12-year run.

Noble broke the news of his departure on LinkedIn, stating, “After 12 years in Flint, I ‘exited’ my job last week. I’m not the first, nor the last. (Welcome to show business.) Looking for my next opportunity to contribute to an organization, which may or may not include wearing headphones. With 42 years in and solid roots where I live, I still know my way around connecting buyers and sellers, creating strong user experiences, and maybe even a little fun once in a while. Inbox is open, and phone is on.”

Noble, who also served as a Network Music Scheduler for Westwood One’s Hot AC Total Network for the past eight years, is a rare radio veteran who has spent his entire career in the same state — he previously programmed Townsquare Hot AC WLHT (Mix 95.7) and AC WTRV (100.5 The River)/Grand Rapids, Cumulus Top 40 WIOG/Saginaw, Liggett’s WBTI & WPHM/Port Huron, and WYSS & WKNW/Sault Ste. Marie, MI.

Noble has also worked on-air in Detroit at WKQI from 1995-2002 and at WDVD from 2002-2005, and his first radio internship was at the legendary WWWW (W4)/Detroit when Howard Stern was working there.

Noble is now seeking his next opportunity and can be contacted at 810-434-2395 or noble19@comcast.net.

• Cumulus has posted the WWCK-FM PD opening on its employment portal.
