New WKQX Creative Imaging Director: YOU

• Cumulus Media Chicago is actively seeking its next Creative Imaging superstar for Alternative 101 WKQX. The right candidate will pull together and create several different areas of audio content for distribution on our various platforms. This is a fast paced, quick-of-thought & wit position. You will work hand-in-hand with our incredibly talented V/O and Imaging guru Dan Stone, who steps out of WKQX & WLUP to launch his own VO/Creative Services business with WKQX as his first client.

You will be part of the idea, writing and creating process, working with multiple departments in brainstorming, ideation, events & functions while assisting in other cluster brand imaging needs as a back up. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience and a thorough knowledge of Digital Editing software (Pro Tools Adobe, Vegas, etc.). Knowledge of live performance/session sound is a big plus, as you will be managing Sound Lounge soundboard performances. SAG/AFTRA membership is required.

Oh, and if dramatic pauses in imaging make you run to a swish or zapper, this is not the gig for you. Strong wit and conversational skills are required. Know how to tell a story/paint the pictures. Most importantly — this is a team environment like no other, so the fit and chemistry needs to be just right.
