Summers On The Loose
• Rich Summers, a.k.a. The Radio Mayor of Boise, ID is now a free agent as he exits his post as Brand Manager of Townsquare Country KAWO (WOW 104.3)/Boise after a four-year run.
Summers’ extensive history in the Boise market began in 1998 and includes a previous 14-year run as OM/PD of Cumulus Country cousins KIZN & KQFC until Dec. 31, 2012. His earlier radio stops include KNIX/Phoenix, KZHT & KBER/Salt Lake City, KSTR-AM & FM/Grand Junction, CO and KFTZ/Idaho Falls, ID. Summers began his radio career at the age of 17 at KBRV & KFIS in his hometown of Soda Springs, ID.
