• Connoisseur Media Connecticut is looking for a talented personality to team up with current host, Kevin Begley, on the No. 1-rated afternoon show on Hot AC WEZN (STAR 99.9)/Bridgeport. And yes, this is a newly created position!
STAR 99.9 is looking for the next passionate, open, digital-savvy, connected talent to join the soon-to-be-rebranded Kevin and (Your Name Here) Show as co-host and producer for what is described as a “morning show in the afternoon.”
You must be a creative thinker and have the ability to be topical, relevant, and authentic in your on-air work and understand the demographics of STAR 99.9. You will also be expected to help book guests, stay on top of current events, pitch topics/stunts and show arcs as well as build a relationship with the major players in the Connecticut political, entertainment, and news world.
Candidates should have experience hosting a “radio”-style show (podcasts, YouTube, terrestrial radio, or television), along with a proven track record of social media success and the ability to create viral content on a number of different platforms and have a deep knowledge on how to grow likes, comments and views.
