Mid-West Family Active Rock WQLZ (Real Rock 97.7 QLZ)/Springfield, IL is sad and a little weepy to announce that Kaytie, who doubles as co-host of The 3rd String Morning Show and Promotions Coordinator is leaving for a new radio opportunity TBA.

Kaytie’s imminent departure now leaves a gaping talent vacancy in the station that needs to be filled, like ASAP. WQLZ PD/morning co-host Wes Styles is currently searching for someone who has the proper on-air chops and also can work promotions for the station. The actual airshift will be dependent upon the candidate. In any event, you’ll work closely with the charming and talented Wes Styles on promotions and also manage the station’s social media accounts, create daily web content, do production as assigned and remotes/appearances.
