• Connoisseur Media Connecticut is looking for the next dedicated, organized, digital-savvy and enthusiastic Producer to work with the top-rated Chaz and AJ Morning Show, enjoyed for 20 years on 99.1 WPLR/New Haven and 95.9 WFOX/Bridgeport. The show’s current producer, Ashley recently left after three years to pursue other opportunities, opening the door for a worthy successor.
As a show Producer, you must be self-motivated to book guests, prep the hosts, gather topical information, understand and use the social media space, and be creative to raise the bar on a content level. Some of the gig’s responsibilities include: Research and book guests on a daily basis; prepare interview questions and secure guest bio information; use various social media platforms to promote segments of the show; assist in the show map, and plan for programming days ahead; participate on-air and with traffic reporting; compile trending topics and pitch story ideas; be topical, relevant, local and connected to demographics of PLR/FOX; host and attend charity events, station functions and seasonal local parades.
