AmericanaFest Announces Artists

• The Americana Music Association announced the first 165 of 240 acts slated to perform at the organization’s annual AmericanaFest, which runs from September 22-25 in Nashville. While serious space limitations (and a keen journalistic sense) prohibit us from listing all 165 acts, we are told that the list includes such standouts as Melissa Carper, Brandy Clark, Cordovas, Rodney Crowell, Jim Lauderdale, The Dead South, Kathleen Edwards, Lilly Hiatt, Izzy Heltai, Natalie Hemby, Ida Mae, Langhorne Slim, Miko Marks,Po’ Ramblin’ Boys, Maggie Rose, Allison Russell, Suzanne Santo, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, Southern Avenue and many, many, many more, performing at notable Nashville-area venues as the Mercy Lounge, City Winery, 3rd & Lindsley and The Station Inn, to name a few.

Returning for its 21st year, the four-day festival and conference event will once again fill Music City with award-winning legends, trailblazing mainstays and buzz-worthy newcomers, showcasing the breadth of Americana’s influence on a global scale.

• 2021 Festival Passes, which allow admission into all evening showcase venues and select sanctioned special events are now on sale to the public at $199.

• 2021 Conference + Festival Passes (currently on-sale at the standard rate of $399/$299 for Americana Music Association members) provide access to the daytime educational conference, the nighttime music festival plus all sanctioned special events. All passes can be purchased online at americanamusic.org.
