Amped For Amped Summit
• Oracle Entertainment & Digital Music Pool (DMP) have joined forces to launch a new Music & Entertainment Industry networking event called Amped Summit.
But first… some history… in the 1990s and early 2000s, New York City was the center of a thriving music scene and hosted weekly dance and music industry networking events at The Sound Factory bar, Subliminal Session & Underground Network, to name a few. Around 2004 these events began to fade, and the dance community no longer had a place to come together, on a regular basis, to unite and bond.
Enter the Amped Summit, with a mission to host a series of exclusive, invite-only, networking events & label sponsored artist showcases to bring the global entertainment business community together to reignite this passion for creating new business opportunities to lead us into the future.
The inaugural Amped Summit will be held on May 16 at The VNYL, New York’s 1970s Hollywood-inspired lifestyle hotspot, hosted by WKTU/New York‘s own Bartel and featuring a performance by Unitas recording artists JAGMAC, who were just named as Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing.” The party will also include DJ sets by up-and-comers Christano Jordano & Tommy Capretto, as well as two surprise all-star DJs TBA.
