Becker Joins Concord As VP, IT
• Concord welcomes industry veteran Anke Becker as Vice President, Information Technology. As part of the IT leadership team, Becker will drive development efforts for Concord’s multi-year strategy to modernize end-to-end publishing systems.
Becker spent the past decade with BMG, where she led the creation of BMG’s proprietary client portal and played a crucial role in transitioning BMG from relying on third-party legacy software and systems to custom, cloud-based solutions.
In her new role, Becker is based in Concord’s London office and reports to Jonathan Eby, Concord SVP, Information Services and Technology, who commented, “Concord has grown its enterprise technology team significantly over the last several years, and Anke’s addition brings needed expertise and experience around publishing technology and systems. Her leadership and large project experience, in addition to her business background, will help to ensure our success in developing a best-in-class publishing ecosystem befitting the world’s leading independent music company.
