BMG Ups Reid To SVP
The L.A.-based Reid reports directly to Thomas Scherer, BMG’s EVP, Repertoire & Marketing, Los Angeles, who said, “Tim made an immediate impact when he joined BMG, contributing to the incredible expansion, growth, and success of our frontline recorded business in R&B and Hip-Hop. He is an exceptional and highly respected executive inside the artist and management community. Earlier in his career, Reid served as Head of Marketing for Priority Records. He later joined MCA Records as VP of Marketing before transitioning to Interscope Geffen A&M. Reid also served as marketing consultant for Jill Scott‘s Blues Babe Records and Common‘s Think Common Music. Prior to joining BMG, Reid was VP of Product Management for INgrooves Distribution.
