Chris Janson Comes Home To WMN

• Country star Chris Janson is returning to Warner Music Nashville under the umbrella of his own Harpeth 60 Records imprint. Warner Music released Janson’s first three albums – Buy Me A Boat, Everybody, and Real Friends, solidifying a hitmaking partnership.

Harpeth 60 Records has contracted with three talented promotion veterans to launch this new record: Clay Hunnicutt is leading the charge, alongside team members Ray Vaughn and Lauren (Longbine) Bartlett.

Hunnicutt, a 2025 inductee into the Country Radio Hall of Fame, most recently served as EVP of Label Operations at Big Machine Label Group. The Austin-based Vaughn was most recently National Director of Radio & Streaming for Magnolia Music Group, and Bartlett spent the past seven years with Columbia Nashville as Sr. Director of Promotion.

“This new chapter of my career is so exciting,” said Janson. “I’m incredibly humbled and grateful for the new partnership with Warner. My Harpeth 60 imprint is second to none, with a great promotion staff — headed up by Clay Hunnicutt and flanked by Ray Vaughn and Lauren Bartlett. This is an awesome overall partnership, and I’m thankful to have them on my side.”
