CMG Co-President Arjun Pulijal Exits

• Fallout from the massive reorganization inside Universal Music Group continues — it was announced today that Capitol Music Group co-President Arjun Pulijal has stepped down after 11 years with the company. Pulijal announced his departure in a lengthy staff memo, which was initially published in Billboard.

Pulijal’s departure is the latest significant executive action inside the Capitol Tower — the pieces started moving in earnest on Feb. 7, when Michelle Jubelirer announced her departure as Chair & CEO of Capitol Music Group. The following day, it was announced that Geffen Records President Tom March had been appointed as Chairman & CEO of Capitol Music Group (CMG), and Lillia Parsa, who was most recently SVP of A&R at Universal Music Publishing Group was named as Co-President of CMG, presumably alongside Pulijal.
