Craig Powers Returning To Records

• Stand by for the formal announcement, but Craig Powers took to Facebook today to announce his impending move from radio back to records. As Powers posted, “Today is a very bittersweet day for me as I will be leaving Cameron Broadcasting [serving Laughlin, NV] after 12 years of service as Vice President of Operations for our six-station group, and taking on a new position.”

That new position is Vice President of Media for Curb Word Entertainment (Curb, Word, Sidewalk and IVAV Records). The move marks a return to the Curb family for Powers, who previously served as West Coast Director of Promotion for Curb Records Nashville from 1994-1998.

Powers added, “I’m excited to get started with Dennis Hannon (EVP Operations & Strategic Development); as well as the Chairman, Mike Curb, who is an icon and a leader in this business for the past 56 years! I will be starting my new position on Monday, March 30, 2020.”
