DMX Remains In Grave Condition
DMX has been open about his past struggles with addiction, and has gone to rehab several times. In 2019, he canceled a series of live performances and checked into rehab for substance abuse after serving a year-long jail sentence for tax fraud and evasion earlier that year.
On a more positive note, we are told that DMX was the first musician whose first four albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart. He released his debut album, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot, through Ruff Ryders/Def Jam in 1998. He followed that up in 1999 debut with … And Then There Was X, which became his best-selling album and was certified five-time multiplatinum. In all, DMX has released seven studio albums and earned three Grammy nominations.
Many of DMX’s contemporaries have shared their love and support via social media, including LL Cool J, Eminem, Missy Elliott, Chance The Rapper, Killer Mike, Eric B., Kid Cudi and SZA, to name a few.
