Executive Action: Mercury Records

• Mercury Records President Tyler Arnold and GM Ben Adelson announced the expansion of the executive team to include Alex Coslov as EVP, Mercury Records, and Marisa Bianco as SVP of Media, Mercury Records. Both executives have enjoyed success at Republic Records and now transition to full-time roles at Mercury.

The news arrives as Mercury Records holds the top two spots on this week’s Billboard 200 and has achieved the top two best-selling albums of the year to date — Morgan Wallen‘s One Thing at a Time — released in alliance with Big Loud — returns to No. 1 for its 19th non-consecutive week atop the list, notably breaking the record for “most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 by a Country album.” Reaching new heights with his critically acclaimed album Stick Season, multi-platinum singer and songwriter Noah Kahan, climbs to No. 2. The releases are also notably the best-selling albums of 2024 year-to-date, respectively.

Next up, Mercury will release Zayn Malik‘s highly anticipated fourth studio album and first with Mercury Records.
