First Grammy Performers Announced

The Recording Academy™ yesterday announced the first group of artists who will perform on this year’s milestone 60th Annual Grammy Awards® in New York — set to take the stage on Music’s Biggest Night® will be current nominees Lady Gaga, P!nk, Little Big Town and Childish Gambino (a.k.a. actor Donald Glover). Stand by for more artist announcements.

And in a celebration of the show’s return to New York after 15 years, Broadway star Patti LuPone will reprise her 1981 Grammy performance of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” from Evita, while Tony Award-winning Dear Evan Hansen star (and current Grammy nominee) Ben Platt will perform a classic from West Side Story in a special Broadway tribute honoring the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Leonard Bernstein.

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by James Corden and roll live from Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT.
