Grammys Add Gaga, Katy, Kelsea, Lukas, Demi
With just five days left until the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, The Recording Academy hasn’t stopped adding more performers to an already awesome line-up. Late yesterday it was confirmed that Lady Gaga, fresh off her massive Super Bowl Halftime Show, would be performing with Metallica during the broadcast. As the statement read, “In true Grammy® Moment fashion, this pairing is sure to make for another unforgettable performance during Music’s℠ Biggest™ Night®.”
Also confirmed: the talented Ms. Katy Perry, along with current Grammy® nominees Kelsea Ballerini and Lukas Graham. Another nominee, Cynthia Erivo will join previously announced John Legend in tribute to those from the music community we lost this past year; and, in a special segment, current Grammy nominee Demi Lovato will team up with Andra Day, Tori Kelly, and previously announced performers Little Big Town to celebrate the music of the Bee Gees and the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever.
This latest group joins previously announced performers Adele, William Bell, Chance The Rapper, Gary Clark Jr., Daft Punk, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Maren Morris, Anderson .Paak, Sturgill Simpson, A Tribe Called Quest, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and The Weeknd. Yup, we’re talking huge. The 59th Annual Grammy Awards, hosted by James Corden happens this Sunday, Feb. 12 at Staples Center in Los Angeles at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS.
