Kobalt Ups Samii To VP, Creative
• Kobalt Music Publishing has promoted Amanda Samii to VP, Creative. Based in Kobalt’s Los Angeles office, Samii was previously a Senior Director, Creative and was instrumental in signing such hitmakers as Marshmello, writers/producers like Finneas O’Connell and other notable names including Syd, Rogét Chahayed, Mike Crossey, Michael Matosic, Peter Thomas and Paul Meany.

Samii joined Kobalt in 2011 as an assistant on the Creative team and has grown her career building strong relationships, signing big talent and creating valuable opportunities for its clients. “They say if you love what you do it will never feel like a ‘job,'” said Samii. “I can say wholeheartedly that it has been a pleasure to work at Kobalt for the last eight years. For me, publishing started as a curiosity but quickly turned into my greatest passion. I’m excited to step into the role of Vice President, Creative and continue to discover and cultivate great talent.”
