Lamberton Earns RCA EVP Stripes

Karen Lamberton has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Soundtracks and Film & TV Licensing for RCA Records. Lamberton was most recently SVP, Soundtracks, Music Licensing & Brand Partnerships for RCA. In her elevated position, the New York-based Lamberton will be tasked with modernizing policy within the field of licensing, building opportunities for exposure, increasing revenue and strengthening her soundtracks department.

Lumberton (left) began her music career in Los Angeles at Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency and Capitol Records. She has worked in varied industry roles over the years, including music publishing, artist management and producer management. In 2001 she joined J Records as Head of Licensing.
