Long Live Rock! (We Need It Every Nite)
• We wanted to share the news of a really cool upcoming documentary project that involves many familiar music industry veterans — Long Live Rock — Celebrate The Chaos, is directed by our longtime friend, Jonathan McHugh and produced by Gary Spivack. Promo veteran Michael Plen and his wife Catharina are also Executive Producers on the film, which will be released online on March 11. Check out the trailer.
Long Live Rock is about the experience of the Rock culture, pre-COVID — the people who go to the concerts as a family and cultural experience of the scene, and their very personal experiences. It also deals with everything from opioid and drug issues in the culture, and the loss of artists like Chester Bennington & Chris Cornell.
The film features appearances by Machine Gun Kelly, Tom Morello, Rob Zombie, members of Metallica, Guns ‘N Roses, Slipknot, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Rage Against the Machine, Greta Van Fleet, Halestorm, Shinedown, and many more.
In cooperation with Long Live Rock‘s distributor, ABRAMORAMA, the film company is also setting up promotions as revenue-sharing opportunities for anyone who watches the film through a specially branded portal featuring [your company logo here]. This sample portal features Seton Hall University’s WSOU. Media outlets, bands, artists, and labels can all have their own screening. Anyone interested in doing a rev share is invited to contact Michael Plen at mplen@mac.com.
