Magnolia Music Inks Promo Pro Ray Vaughn

• Sending our best wishes to promo legend Ray Vaughn, who has joined Magnolia Music Group as National Director of Radio & Streaming.

The Austin-based Vaughn most recently worked for Quartz Hill Records as Director of Promotion. Before that he spent a decade with Warner Music Nashville’s WAR promotion team as Southwest Manager of Radio & Streaming. Over the course of his three-decade career, Vaughn has worked with some of the biggest names across all genres of music, including George Strait, Tom Petty, KISS, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, and Foo Fighters, just to drop a few names.

Earlier in his career Vaughn spent seven years (over two tours of duty) with Columbia Records, along with stops at Universal Republic, RCA, J Records/Arista, Lava and Mercury/PolyGram.
