In a follow-up memo, Warner Bros. Chairman & CEO Cameron Strang confirmed McCarroll’s impending departure, writing, “As many of you have heard from him, Dan McCarroll is leaving WBR. I know I speak for us all when I thank him for everything he’s done for our label, our artists, and our team. Dan has been integral in evolving our A&R activity and helping us grow our partnerships with some of the world’s biggest stars, all the while attracting a new generation of talent to the label. Dan has been a fantastic friend and colleague to many of us, and I’m personally grateful to him for all his advice and counsel. Dan’s last day in the office will be this Friday, so please join me in wishing him all the very best in the next chapter of his career.”
