MOC Now In 10 Nashville Hospitals
• Musicians On Call (MOC), that groundbreaking nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in hospitals across the country, continued its celebration of the 10th Anniversary in Nashville by teaming up with Warner Music Nashville to launch its Bedside Performance Program at TriStar Centennial Medical Center — its 10th hospital in Music City. The celebration featured performances from Warner Music Nashville recording artists Michael Ray and Ryan Kinder. Warner Music Nashville COO Matt Signore, and SVP Artist Development Shane Tarleton, were on hand to show their support of Musicians On Call’s 10th Anniversary by presenting a check for $10,000 to support the new program.
Following the event, Michael Ray and Ryan Kinder performed the first Bedside Performance Program within the new orthopedic patient unit, where Michael Ray surprised patients with acoustic renditions of his hits, “Kiss You In The Morning” and “Think a Little Less,” and Ryan Kinder performed “Still Believe in Crazy Love” and “Close.” In addition to the support of the 10th Hospital Launch, Warner Music Nashville employees embarked on an initiative throughout the day where they volunteered at Musicians On Call programs throughout Nashville.
