Nash Makes Iconic Deal

Graham Nash, Grammy Award® winner, two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and two-time Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee — has entered into an agreement with Irving Azoff‘s Iconic Artists Group to acquire, develop, and expand his musical legacy to new generations of fans. The deal encompasses a range of assets from Nash’s lauded career, including his solo work, as well as of his legendary contributions to The Hollies; Crosby & Nash; Crosby, Stills & Nash; and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

“I am thrilled to welcome Graham Nash to the iconic family, which now represents the works of all three of Crosby, Stills, and Nash,” Azoff said. “Graham is not only an incredible talent and true gentleman but a longtime friend as well. Back when I struck out on my own and started my first management company, Graham visited my office and came up with the name, ‘Front Line Management.'” Jimmy Edwards, President of Iconic, noted, “Graham Nash is truly an exceptional artist, who has influenced generations with his brilliant songwriting and inimitable voice. Iconic is honored to welcome him to its roster of artists, which includes his former partners, David Crosby and Stephen Stills.”

Nash’s remarkable body of work began with his contributions to The Hollies opus from 1964 to ’68, including “Stop Stop Stop,” and “On A Carousel,” among others. The classic union of Crosby, Stills & Nash (& Young) yielded songs like Nash’s “Marrakesh Express,” “Pre-Road Downs,” and “Lady of the Island” from the first Crosby, Stills & Nash album, and his iconic “Teach Your Children” and “Our House” from CSNY’s Déjà Vu. Nash’s solo career took flight in 1971, beginning with two landmark albums, Songs For Beginners and Wild Tales that produced such favorites as “Chicago/We Can Change the World” and “Military Madness.” His latest album, Now, was released worldwide on May 19.

Nash’s deal follows Iconic’s acquisitions of assets of Cher, Joe Cocker, Nat King Cole, Crosby, Dan Fogelberg, Dean Martin, Linda Ronstadt, and Stills. Iconic launched in January 2020 with the acquisition of a controlling interest in the legendary catalog of The Beach Boys. Nash said, “I’m looking forward to working with the Iconic team on various projects to further the legacy of CSN’s music and my own.” [Photo courtesy of Iconic Artists Group]
