Palmer Named VP/Promo, Triple Tigers/AKANDO
• Chris Palmer has been named as VP of National Promotion for Triple Tigers Records/AKANDO Music, with a start date of July 27.
Palmer, a 28-year radio promotion veteran with 56 No. 1 records on his promotion resume, fills the role vacated by Raffaella Braun, following her recent elevation to Co-President of the label. “Having Chris Palmer part of this ambush of tigers is so exciting,” said Braun. “He brings the experience and creative juices, but most of all, the passion and fun we all love about this job.”
Palmer most recently served as VP of Promotion for The Valory Music Company. Earlier stops include VP at Warner Music Nashville, and Lyric Street Records, where his promo career began in 1998. In his new position with Triple Tigers Records, he will oversee the radio promotion efforts of both Triple Tigers and AKANDO Music.
