• Def Jam Recordings announces several key staff changes — the upward movement begins with Mundo Garcia (left), who has been upped to Sr. Director of Rhythm/Crossover Promotion, and West Coast Regional Manager Sonny D (center) is adding Mix Show duties to his regional duties and will henceforth be known as West Coast Regional Manager & Director of Mix Show for Rhythm & Pop. Please make a note of it.
And there’s more — Daisy Moreira (right), who is currently Executive Assistant to EVP of Promotion Nicki Farag and EVP of Rhythm & Lifestyle Promotion Noah Sheer is preparing to leave the nest for the opportunity to become Def Jam’s new Midwest Regional Promotion rep. She will succeed Jim Kelley, who is resigning at the end of the month, and we wish him the best of luck!
