RECORDS Nashville Adds Fassig, Kittleson-Cobb
• RECORDS Nashville, the Music City division of Barry Weiss‘s RECORDS, a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment, announced the expansion of its team with the addition of Chele Fassig as Promotion Manager and Laurel Kittleson-Cobb as A&R Consultant.
Fassig (left) joins RECORDS Nashville with over 28 years of radio experience, the last 25 as the Marketing, Promotions & NTR Director at Beasley’s legendary Country station WSOC/Charlotte. She currently serves in a Sr. Media Consultant role for Beasley. Kittleson-Cobb (right) is the former VP of Artist Development and A&R at Curb Records, and recently launched Rainier Entertainment, a consulting company for A&R, artist development and publishing. Prior stops include Big Machine Label Group, Show Dog-Universal Records and Elevation Music Publishing.
Fassig and and Kittleson-Cobb will help continue the rapid trajectory of RECORDS Nashville’s roster of artists, including platinum singer/songwriter Matt Stell, breakout Country stars George Birge and Chris Bandi, and Nelly, whose recently released Heartland album, including the double-platinum single “Lil Bit” featuring Florida Georgia Line, is currently Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country albums chart. “We’re excited to continue to build out the team at RECORDS Nashville,” said Barry Weiss, Partner and Co-Founder of Records. “Chele and Laurel are great additions to help take the label to the next level.
