Republic Rocks With Dobbins & Hauser

• Republic Records just unveiled its revamped Rock promotion department with the elevation of Amanda Dobbins to Sr. Vice President of Rock Promotion and the sire of Drew Hauser as Vice President of Rock Promotion. Both promo pros will spearhead promotion campaigns at Alternative, Rock, and Triple A for the Republic Records and its strategic partners.

In making the announcement, Executive Vice President of Promotion Gary Spangler commented, “Amanda is the foremost respected rock executive in music and has earned this leadership roll. Since Drew joined Republic as a consultant this summer we instantly knew he belonged on the team. They have seamlessly elevated the department already delivering 3 No. 1s with The Killers, Jack Johnson and rock breakout Greta Van Fleet. This is a very exciting time for the Republic of Rock!”

Dobbins joined Republic Records in 2014 as VP of Rock Promotion. Prior to that, she spent 14 years in Promotion at Sony Music. “I can’t begin to say how excited I am for this opportunity to lead the department to greater heights,” she said. “Working with great music and the best promotion staff in the business is a dream come true, and I look forward to helping the company and our artists achieve great success. I want to thank Gary, Charlie and Monte for their confidence and support as I begin this exciting new chapter in my career.”
