SMN Names Nicole Hunt Dir. Of Marketing
• Sony Music Nashville has named Nicole Hunt as Director of Marketing. In her new post, Ms. Hunt will oversee the strategy, development, and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to drive consumption and audience growth for her portion of the Sony Music Nashville roster of artists.
Hunt (pictured) reports to SMN SVP of Marketing Jennifer Way, who remarked, “Nicole brings a wealth of marketing knowledge and experience to our team, along with an infectious energy and collaborative spirit that will suit her well in this role. I’m excited to watch her grow with our team and I’m delighted that she chose to write her next chapter with Sony Music Nashville.”
Hunt segues from Big Machine Label Group, where she has worked since 2016, most recently as a Project Manager for Big Machine Records. A 2015 magna cum laude graduate of Suffolk University in Boston, Hunt received a Bachelor’s in Advertising and was a member of the NCAA women’s soccer team. While at Suffolk, Hunt broke into the Boston entertainment scene, working with iHeartMedia, Live Nation, Beasley Country WKLB and local stints with recording artist Andy Grammer.
