SMN/Provident & Kilgore Make It Legal
• Sony Music Nashville (SMN) and Provident Entertainment (PE) announce the appointment of Lauren Kilgore as Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs. She will report to Sony Music Nashville Chair & CEO, Taylor Lindsey and President & COO Ken Robold. “We are so excited to have Lauren join Sony Music Nashville and Provident Entertainment,” said Lindsey. “Her vast knowledge and sharp acumen will only help to continue to provide the best and most competitive deals for both our company and the artists we’ve partnered with.”
Kilgore has spent her entire legal career based in Nashville, and was most recently a Shareholder in the law firm of Buchalter, P.C. She brings nearly 15 years of experience as an entertainment attorney, representing Grammy-winning artists, producers, songwriters, television contestants, record labels, publishing companies, managers, and other creatives. She has also worked with a diverse roster of clients, including Paramore,Jackson Dean, Ben Williams, Shenandoah, Black River Entertainment, and Walk Off Entertainment.
