VP Upgrade For Motown’s Lisa Smith-Craig

• Motown Records announced the elevation of Lisa Smith-Craig to Vice President of A&R and Label Operations.

In this dual role, the Los Angeles-based Smith-Craig will expand her duties on the executive leadership team, overseeing the day-to-day functions of both the A&R department and overall label operations, reporting to Motown Chief Operating Officer, Alison Finley, who commented, “The passion and dedication Lisa has for our artists and their music is incredible. Lisa is an integral part of the success of Motown and I’m thrilled for her to expand her role.”

Across her impressive career in the music and entertainment, Lisa Smith-Craig has built a well-earned reputation as an exceptional leader with a broad perspective and skills in A&R, operations, production and creative services. She joined Motown Records in March 2018 as the Label Director, focusing on label and artist development, A&R and brand management. Earlier in her career Smith-Craig worked at Priority Distribution, EMI Label Group, Caroline Distribution and Astralwerks.
