Vuernick Named Pres., A&R, CMG

Jeremy Vuernick has been promoted to President of A&R for Capitol Music Group (CMG), it was announced by CMG Chair & CEO Michelle Jubelirer, to whom Vuernick reports. Vuernick’s presidential promotion comes after nearly a decade as an A&R executive at CMG. He joined the label group’s Astralwerks in 2013 after a stint with Ultra Music, and served in senior capacities at Astralwerks and at Capitol Records before being promoted to EVP of A&R for CMG in 2019.

Among his many accomplishments during his tenure at CMG, Vuernick signed and developed Grammy-nominated global superstar Halsey, inked numerous deals with electronic music superstar Marshmello, A&R’d Paul McCartney‘s Grammy-nominated McCartney III Imagined and signed the Grammy-nominated Atlanta-based artist and producer TM88. He most recently triumphed in two highly competitive signings, Blu DeTiger and Justus Bennetts.
