Get Well, Rich!

We are keeping the most positive thoughts for radio vet Rich Stevens, longtime host on Alpha Media Talk WFTL/West Palm Beach, who has been hospitalized since Saturday (his birthday) after being diagnosed with a rare blood clot on his brain. Stevens is receiving the best of care and remains in ICU as his doctors work on solving this serious medical issue. As you might imagine, Rich is facing some mounting expenses due to his hospital stay, not to mention the ongoing care of his ailing mother. That being said, Kevin Rolston of the KVJ Show across the hall on sister WRMF swung into action on Rich’s behalf, informing us about a GoFundMe page that has been launched with the stated goal of raising $5,000 to help defray some of Stevens’ medical expenses.

As the page reads, in part, “RS need our help while he heals in the hospital. His elderly mother is in the full-time care of a home nurse and the expenses are great. Any amount you can give will go to helping RS pay for his mother’s nurse while he recovers and heals in the hospital. Thank you for your help and generous hearts.”
