Bull Busts Into Seattle
• At 9am PT, Hubbard Radio announced yet another development in the ongoing evolution of its four-month-old Seattle Country outlet KNUC — a rebranding from Country 98.9 FM to The NEW 98.9 The Bull, complete with this swell new Bull logo. “Welcome to the next evolution of 98.9, a personality all its own,” said Lisa Adams, Bos Taurus (Program Director). “More BULL, more MUSIC, more FUN.”
As the press release so eloquently states, “The station is still committed to playing more new country than any other Country station in Seattle, with an emphasis on today’s top Country artists.”
We are told to keep an eye (and ear) out for final staff additions coming soon, joining previously the announced morning team of Tim Leary, Karen “Red” Daiss and Claire Beverly, inbound from Alpha Media Country WUBB (Bob 106.9)/Savannah, GA, new evening personality Michael Kraig Mason and midday talent Seth Hughes.
