Call For Gracie Award Nominees
The Gracie Awards, presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF), has opened the call for entries for the 42nd Annual Gracie Awards Gala, to be held June 6, 2017 at the Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills and the Gracie Awards Luncheon, scheduled for June 27, 2017 at Cipriani 42nd Street in in New York City.
“The Gracie Awards recognize the best and the brightest in all aspects of the media industry, in front of and behind the camera, and have for more than 40 years,” said Kristen Welch, AWMF Chair. “Individuals who are pioneers in content and program creation highlighting diversity in issues and journalistic approach are given the spotlight, truly reflecting Gracie Allen, the namesake of the Gracie Awards.” The 2017 Gracie entry eligibility period has been updated to run from December 1, 2015 through December 31, 2016. Early Bird rates for entries end on December 8 at 11:59pm ET. The deadline for all entries is January 12, 2017 at 11:59pm ET.
