Covino & Rich Upped To Weekdays On FSR

• FOX Sports Radio (FSR), a division of Premiere Sports Network announced that Steve Covino and Rich Davis will be elevated from weekends to take over FSR’s 5-7pm ET/2-4pm PT weekday timeslot, effective Sept. 26. The guys will be heard on more than 200 stations, in addition to FOX Sports Radio’s channel on iHeartRadio and as a podcast directly following each show.

With the addition of Covino & Rich, The Doug Gottlieb Show will transition from three hours to two hours, broadcasting weekdays from 3-5pm ET/12-2pm PT. Gottlieb will also host a new original daily podcast that launches Sept. 26 via The Doug Gottlieb Show podcast feed on iHeartRadio and other podcast platforms.

Covino and Rich first joined FSR in September 2021 as part of the network’s weekend football line-up. In addition to their move from weekends to weekdays on FSR, the duo will continue to host the popular, long-running Covino & Rich live podcast, which debuted in 2004 on SiriusXM and is available via Patreon subscription.

In a joint statement, Don Martin, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Sports and Scott Shapiro, VP of Sports Programming for FOX Sports Radio said, “Covino and Rich will add a dynamic punch to an already rich roster. They’re so talented we had to make room for them in what is the best sports talk line-up in the nation. We can’t wait to share this one-of-a-kind duo with even more listeners across the country.”

Covino & Rich said, “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Don, Scott and the entire FOX Sports Radio team. We all share the same vision and can’t wait to bring the fun and energy every day! To quote every athlete in 2022, ‘Let’s F’n Go!'”
